This rocking chair has been engineered for stability, so you can lean back and not worry about slipping or losing your place as you read. It is made primarily of layered Baltic birch, which we chose for its uniform grain, smooth texture, and durability. Our current iteration of this chair has walnut pegs where the armrests join the base.
