Western Contemporary
Western Contemporary, Strata’s first collection, presents works that reflect, envision, and connect places, beings, and ideas in the American West. While it’s not easy, or truly possible, to get a rope around the West, by bringing multiple perspectives into conversation, we hope to represent the depth of current photographic explorations of the region, and the land itself.
Our collections coincide with exhibitions held at Strata’s gallery space in Livingston, Montana.
